- An earned M.S.W. or M.S.S.W. from an accredited social work program, or an earned doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution
- A minimum of two years of post-M.S.W. social work practice experience
- Experience teaching or learning in an online environment
- Eligible for clinical licensure (LCSW/LICSW) or certification in Wisconsin or Minnesota per the rules and regulations of the social work governing board
- A doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution earned by August 25, 2027
- -or- A doctorate in a related discipline and an M.S.W. or M.S.S.W. from an accredited social work program earned by August 25, 2027

The department is seeking individuals who will provide excellent undergraduate and graduate instruction, incorporate current techniques in teaching and research, contribute to administrative responsibilities and work collaboratively to enhance the Social Work program.

- Instruction of 12 credits or the equivalent per semester in the field of social work in any of the curriculum areas: methods of practice and micro-clinical courses (interviewing, assessment, groups, families, etcetera) special topics (Crisis Intervention, Trauma-Informed Care, Addictions) in multiple modalities.
- Student advisement.
- Administrative tasks may include program coordination and accreditation duties .
- Service to the University, including program, departmental and campus committee work.
