About the role
Ultimately, our work will help power national ambitions and enable a high-energy society. As an EH&S Engineer, you will serve as a subject matter expert in environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) programs supporting the development of advanced enrichment technologies and pilot-scale operations. You will play a key role in developing and implementing practical, fit-for-purpose programs to manage chemical, radiological, and industrial hazards while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health Physics, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in an occupational safety, industrial hygiene, or EH&S role, preferably within nuclear, chemical, manufacturing, or R&D-intensive environments
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations and standards, including OSHA 29 CFR 1910, 10 CFR 20, 10 CFR 70, and DOE/NRC EH&S requirements
- Demonstrated ability to identify occupational health and safety risks and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
- Experience conducting hazard assessments, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and root cause analyses
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills, including procedure development and compliance reporting
