About the role
We are seeking a Civil Engineering Intern with an environmental focus to support critical infrastructure and environmental initiatives at our nuclear fuel cycle facility. As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will assist in designing, analyzing, and evaluating civil infrastructure solutions that align with environmental regulations and nuclear safety standards.
What they're looking for
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
- General knowledge of applicable industry standards for industrial facility construction and environmental compliance
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, or civil engineering design software (e.g., Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, HY-8)
- Collaborative team member who thrives in fast-paced, multidisciplinary environments and is eager to learn
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends as necessary
