About the role

Generate’s compensation packages are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Salary decisions take into account a wide variety of factors including, but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $90,000-$125,000.

  • A demonstrated passion for, or commitment to, our mission
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Ideally 2+ years of compensation experience in broad-based compensation, compensation consulting, and people operations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret compensation data and market trends
  • Proficient in using compensation benchmarking tools, HRIS systems, and strong aptitude in Microsoft Excel
  • Clear and confident presentation skills, capable of conveying complex concepts across stakeholder groups
More about this role

You will play a vital role in translating Generate’s compensation philosophy into world-class programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. Partnering with Finance, Legal, the Talent Team, and external consultants, you will ensure our compensation programs are market-driven, well-designed, and clearly communicated. You’re quantitatively inclined, fluent in Excel, and excited about solving highly complex problems. You have a service-oriented mindset and are comfortable interfacing with Generate’s broader employee base, acting as a central source of knowledge for all things compensation.

Additionally, this role will have exposure to the broader People Operations functions with the opportunity to learn about and influence areas such as HR systems, management reporting, immigration, policies, benefits, and payroll.
