Gimlet Labs is seeking Data Center Technicians to support daily data center operations; hardware deployments, and site bring-ups across Gimlet's growing infrastructure footprint. These roles are hands-on positions for people closest to the physical systems that power Gimlet's AI infrastructure.
What they're looking for
- Hands-on experience in data center, IT hardware, lab, field service, or infrastructure operations
- Experience with servers, racks, PDUs, copper and fiber cabling, optics, and physical deployment standards
- The ability to troubleshoot methodically, document findings, and close work with clear evidence
- Familiarity with Linux, BMC/IPMI, firmware, BIOS, PXE, or hardware-validation workflows
- Strong attention to safety, physical quality, and operational documentation
- The ability to work in an active data center and support occasional off-hours maintenance

You will rack, stack, cable, label, validate, troubleshoot, repair, document, and maintain high density compute infrastructure. You will work closely with Site Managers, Deployment Leads, Network Deployment Engineers, Logistics, vendors, and remote-hands teams to keep capacity moving from planned to production-ready.
