About the role
Glean is seeking a Cloud Deployment Software Engineer to join our Platform Infrastructure team. This team is in the Platform org and focuses on customer setup and deployment, especially in complex cloud, hosting, and security environments. You will help build the systems that bootstrap cloud accounts and projects, wire authentication, and turn deployment workflows into reliable, repeatable productized experiences for customers.
What they're looking for
- You have 4+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in platform, infrastructure, or cloud-focused roles
- You have solid backend engineering fundamentals and the ability to work across infrastructure-heavy systems
- You have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure in AWS, GCP
- You have experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools
- You have strong networking fundamentals, including areas such as VPCs, subnets, routing, proxies, and private connectivity
- You have built or improved deployment automation, onboarding workflows, internal cloud platforms, or customer-environment setup systems
