About the role
Glean is seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to join our Product Finance team and partner with our Product and Engineering organizations. The Strategic Finance team at Glean tackles some of the company’s most critical business challenges, bringing financial rigor to decisions across every department. In this role, you will act as a thought partner bringing financial insights, strategic analysis, and decision support to the economics of Glean’s AI products.
What they're looking for
- A background in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, strategic finance, product finance, venture capital, or a comparably analytically rigorous role
- Strong proficiency in spreadsheet-based financial modeling, with the ability to build and maintain complex operating models from the ground up — and genuine enjoyment of the craft
- Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of a workstream and drive it independently from question to decision
- Comfort operating in systems and data, not just spreadsheets — you'll get into a billing configuration, a usage dashboard, or a SQL query to verify behavior rather than assume it
- The judgment and conviction to form an opinion and defend it, paired with the openness to update it as the analysis evolves
- A genuine, current interest in AI — you follow the field and have a perspective on where model and compute economics are heading
