About the role
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Staff Software Engineer to join the team building financial tools that help contractors manage and grow their businesses. In this role, you’ll design and scale backend services that support critical business operations, including payments and other financial workflows.
What they're looking for
- 8+ years of software development experience, with deep backend expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS
- Strong system design skills, with experience building scalable, reliable, and secure distributed systems and APIs
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, leadership-oriented mindset
- Passion for clean, maintainable code, mentoring others, and continuous improvement
