As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years of experience in technical program management and manufacturing engineering
- Experience leading the specification, development, and implementation of manufacturing fixtures, equipment, and process flows
- Experience collaborating with design teams early in the hardware lifecycle to ensure design for manufacturing principles are properly incorporated into product architectures

- Influence product definition and architecture selection, in close collaboration with product design teams, via early design for manufacturing engagement.
- Develop manufacturing processes and fixtures, in close collaboration with manufacturing partners and equipment providers, via specification, design, prototyping, fabrication, and validation of manufacturing methods and equipment.
- Improve manufacturing efficiency, flexibility, and scalability via analysis, simulation, and planning of work flow, space requirements, production capacity, and equipment layout.
- Identify, investigate, analyze, and integrate new manufacturing processes, technologies, and equipment.
- Manage cross-functional programs with global teams and contract manufacturing partners to ensure factory readiness and successful product delivery.
