More about this role
- Define YouTube’s security product strategy and roadmap in partnership with YouTube Security Engineering and Google’s central security teams.
- Improve how we detect, validate, and prioritize vulnerabilities across YouTube’s codebase and external APIs, filtering out noise so teams focus on real risks.
- Build AI-powered tools that automatically fix common classes of security and code-health bugs at scale, partnering with YouTube engineering teams to resolve issues quickly and meet service level objectives.
- Define how YouTube evaluates and manages risk across third-party and open-source dependencies.
- Track security health and remediation goals, and lead regular security reviews with YouTube leadership to align on top risks and priorities.
