About the role
As a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate with journalists and other thought leaders; devise specific communications materials and campaigns; engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators and other opinion formers; and develop print and web-based material supporting these campaigns.

- Drive and execute campaign activities focused on crucial environmental and energy topics, including supporting initiatives and messaging around water stewardship, emissions, environmental impacts, clean energy, and other environment related topics.
- Assist in strategic coordination and messaging for broader sustainability efforts and milestones, including supporting announcements related to Carbon Credits and Removals, Circular Economy, Sustainable Aviation Fuel, how AI is enabling positive climate outcomes and cross-company moments like Earth Day, COP, and Climate Week.
- Provide critical, agile support to manage incoming inquiries, and press demands. Anticipate and respond to shifting narratives and public scrutiny.
- Cultivate local, state, and national media relationships to drive awareness about how Google sustainability efforts. Act as a trusted advisor and strategic thought partner to key business partners.
