About the role
The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting is responsible for overseeing the preparation and filing of periodic reports with the SEC, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal control requirements. The Senior Manager will also manage the Company’s equity administration and stock-based compensation accounting.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Requires CPA and 5+ years of relevant accounting experience preferably in the public biotech/pharmaceutical or public accounting environment
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Knowledge of SEC disclosure modernization and XBRL requirements
- Experience with stock-based compensation accounting a plus
- Experience with Wdesk - Workiva a plus

The Senior Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting is responsible for overseeing the preparation and filing of periodic reports with the SEC, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and internal control requirements. The Senior Manager will also manage the Company’s equity administration and stock-based compensation accounting. This role partners closely with the broader Accounting/Finance team as well as with Legal, Investor Relations, and external auditors to support accurate and timely financial reporting and public company compliance.
- Prepare and review SEC filings, including:
Forms 10-K and 10-Q
- Forms 8-K
- Proxy Statements (DEF 14A)
- Registration Statements (S-3, S-8, etc.)
- Section 16 filings, as applicable
- Partner with Legal and Investor Relations to ensure consistency of public disclosures across SEC filings, earnings materials, and investor communications
- Research and document technical accounting issues and emerging accounting standards
