About the role
GovWell is hiring an Account Executive to help scale our go-to-market motion with local governments across the United States. This role is responsible for owning full-cycle sales opportunities, building strong relationships with city and county leaders, and consistently closing high-impact deals.
What they're looking for
- At least 2 years of experience closing complex software deals
- Strong listener and communicator, able to uncover customer needs from imperfect information and clearly articulate value
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple deals, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously
- Self-directed and motivated, comfortable operating in fast-moving environments with evolving processes
- Resilient and positive in the face of setbacks, with a strong sense of ownership over outcomes
- Motivated by impact and aligned with GovWell’s mission to improve how governments serve their communities
