About the role
The Training Specialist - Welding owns welding training at their site. You will teach technicians to weld to a written standard across TIG, MIG and mechanized processes, run the evaluations that confirm they are ready, and keep the training records and documentation that the program is audited against. The role works closely with our naval customer as a representative of Hadrian. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.
What they're looking for
- Experience in multiple welding disciplines, including TIG (GTAW), MIG (GMAW) and mechanized welding
- 3+ years in a training, instructing or teaching role focused on entry-level individual contributors
- At least 1 year welding in a production environment
- Proven ability to train people from entry level to mid level to weld to a written standard
- Openness to learning new processes and methods, and to reteaching as they change
- Comfort working with software to record training, evaluations and qualifications
