About the role
As a Senior Engineering Technician at Helion, you will lead the build, integration, and troubleshooting of complex electromechanical systems that support our fusion generators and pulsed power architecture. You will drive execution across system builds while independently diagnosing issues and ensuring hardware meets performance, safety, and quality expectations.
What they're looking for
- 5+ years hands-on experience building, integrating, and troubleshooting electrical or electromechanical systems
- Strong diagnostic capability using schematics, instrumentation, and signal tracing
- Proficiency with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, power supplies, DAQ, etc.)
- Experience working in prototype, R&D, or high-mix production environments
- Ability to interpret and apply complex technical documentation at the bench
- Demonstrated leadership in execution, including mentoring technicians or leading builds
