About the role
As a Build Reliability Engineering Intern at Hermeus, you will support the development, improvement, and standardization of manufacturing processes used to build our next-generation aircraft. You will work closely with engineers and technicians to identify manufacturing challenges, investigate root causes, and implement improvements across structural fabrication and assembly processes.

- Hands-on experience building, fabricating, assembling, or testing hardware through internships, coursework, clubs, competition teams, or personal projects
- Comfortable working directly on the factory floor and learning manufacturing processes hands-on
- Strong interest in manufacturing, welding, materials, structures, or process improvement
- Ability to approach problems using engineering first principles and root-cause analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to clearly document technical processes
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams

- Support the development and improvement of manufacturing processes for aircraft structures and hardware.
