About the role
We are seeking a Director, Venture Investments to help source, evaluate, and execute venture and growth-oriented investments, with a primary focus on the San Francisco Bay Area and Palo Alto ecosystem. This role is designed for an investor with strong transaction judgment, credible network access, and the ability to operate independently across sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio support.
What they're looking for
- Significant experience in venture capital, growth equity, private equity, investment banking, or a similarly rigorous investing or transaction-oriented role
- Strong investment judgment and the ability to assess both early-stage and scaled businesses
- Demonstrated experience evaluating and executing private investments, financings, or strategic transactions
- Strong financial modelling, analytical, and presentation skills
- Existing network in the San Francisco Bay Area / Palo Alto venture ecosystem, including founders, investors, operators, or intermediaries
- Ability to manage multiple live workstreams with high attention to detail and strong prioritization
