About the role
The Assistant Controller is a key financial leader responsible for partnering with the VP, Financial Operations & Controller, to oversee accounting operations, technical accounting, financial reporting, and other related functions. This is a senior accounting leadership role, with leveling at the Senior Manager or Director commensurate with the individual's experience, scope of expertise, and demonstrated leadership.

- Lead core accounting operations end-to-end, including payroll accounting, order-to-cash, close governance, and reconciliations—ensuring accuracy, strong controls, and continuous acceleration of cycle time
- Build, coach, and develop a high-performing accounting team—establishing clear standards, scalable playbooks, and a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Drive accounting transformation through process standardization, automation, and responsible AI adoption—building a faster, more scalable finance function without sacrificing controls or auditability
- Drive SOX readiness through control design, scoping, and deficiency remediation, while championing SOP adoption across the team through structured training, clear ownership, and a culture of continuous improvement

This role will own the technical accounting and reporting governance framework globally—including revenue recognition, leases, equity compensation, impairments, business combinations, strategic transactions, new products, non-standard commercial arrangements, and emerging standards—while supporting Finance, Legal, Tax, People, Sales Operations, executive leadership, external auditors, and outside advisors.
