About the role
As a Senior IT Automation Engineer on the IT Solutions Engineering team, you will shape how Huntress uses automation and AI to work smarter, move faster, and scale securely. You will own the strategy and operating model for our Automation and Agentic AI Center of Excellence, turning tools such as Claude, Glean, Zapier, and related platforms into practical systems that improve how teams get work done. - You have 7+ years of experience in automation engineering, systems integration, or a similar technical leadership role, with experience on or partnering closely with IT teams
- You have set automation strategy, translated organizational goals into practical roadmaps, and guided initiatives from concept through adoption
- You understand SaaS security, identity and access management, credential protection, privacy-aware data handling, and the risk assessment of new integrations
- You can diagnose root causes, weigh automation against manual processes, and make clear decisions about where standardization creates the most value
- You communicate technical trade-offs clearly with engineers, business partners, and executive stakeholders, and you can guide teams toward maintainable solutions
