The way enterprises access data is fundamentally changing. Organizations are racing to put data to work across analytics and AI, while AI copilots and agents are emerging as an entirely new class of data consumer. Traditional approaches built around tickets, static permissions, and manual approvals were not designed for this speed, scale, or complexity.
What they're looking for
- Data & Governance Expertise: Strong understanding of modern data architectures, data governance, privacy, security, compliance, access control, and enterprise data operations
- Data Platform Expertise: Experience working with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Starburst, or similar technologies
- Customer Advisory: Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Collaboration : Experience partnering with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams to drive customer outcomes
- Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, including customer presentations, technical workshops, and solution documentation
- Executive Presence: Proven ability to engage and influence Chief Data Officers, AI leaders, IT executives, business leaders, and senior technical stakeholders
