About the role
Inflection is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to own Inflection’s vertically integrated spacecraft avionics architecture and power system. This role reports directly to the CTO. This is a full-time, onsite role based out of Inflection’s HQ in Los Angeles, CA.

- Own spacecraft avionics and power architecture, from requirements through flight hardware fabrication and test
- Design, build, and test PCBAs for power conversion, power distribution, computing, and communications functions
- Manage vendors and subcontractors
- Lead board bring-up, electronic assembly integration, and environmental testing, diagnose and resolve hardware anomalies as they arise
- Support on-orbit spacecraft operations
- Design for reliable, repeatable production

About the role

Qualifications
- 5+ years of electrical engineering experience delivering complex hardware.
- Experience in circuit design, schematic capture, PCB layout, power electronics, and embedded interfaces.
