About the role
We're hiring a Content Lead, Writing & Video, to work with and report to our Head of Communications. We're seeking someone with startup and tech experience who can take complex, technical subject matter, across sectors like AI, robotics, and bio, and make it clear and compelling without stripping out the substance. Someone who understands how attention and ideas spread online, how to optimize our content channels, and how to tell our founders' stories, in writing and on video, in the best light for our audiences.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years of recent, hands-on experience in content, writing, and some video production
- If less than 4 years, please apply if you think you’ll be a great fit
- Strong writing skills, comfortable going deep on complex, technical subject matter for a smart audience without oversimplifying (journalism background a plus, not required)
- Knows what looks and sounds good on camera/video, and can coach others to deliver it
- Have owned and grown a content channel (i.e. podcast, YouTube, social, blog, newsletter)
- Previous experience working with startups and/or founders
