About the role
As we grow, this role will transition into IronLedger’s Head of Engineering. We are a small, flat team that enjoys lunches and dinners together, provides ~1 day of remote work per week, and will travel across the country with you to both serve customers, grind and relax!

Mission: IronLedger is reducing the cost to manage housing, starting with automated accounting.
Problem: Hiring accountants is expensive ($100K+ annually) and the market is already facing a shortage of back-office workers (75% of CPAs are retiring in the next 8 years and property manager turnover is ~30% annually). We’re building agents to automate accounting for owners and managers of $2.6T+ in real estate assets.
IronLedger is hiring 1 founding engineer to be in-person in New York City as soon as possible. We have an overwhelming amount of customer demand and need incredible engineers to keep up.
- Build at the frontier of AI in Real Estate: Lead development of agents and AI-enabled software for accounting and property management workflows
- Be incredibly product-focused: You will translate product requirements + feedback directly from the customer into high quality features and magical user experiences
- Wear many hats and be an owner: You are a partner and owner of IronLedger. You will primarily focus on full stack development, but can wear many hats. This may include flying with our team to customers, listening to feedback directly and designing your own product UI/UX
