About the role
The Investment Director is a full-time, on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. This role is responsible for sourcing and evaluating early-stage investment opportunities in space-tech, autonomy, and robotics, conducting rigorous market and financial analysis, and leading investment processes from initial screening through term sheet negotiation and closing.
What they're looking for
- Strong proficiency in Investment Management and Investments, including experience leading deals and managing an early-stage portfolio
- Advanced Analytical Skills and Finance capabilities, with demonstrated ability to perform financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment
- Expertise in developing and implementing Investment Strategies, particularly in venture capital and deep-tech sectors
- Relevant experience in venture capital, private equity, or technology-focused investing, ideally within space-tech, autonomy, or robotics
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is beneficial
- Ability to build trusted relationships with technical founders and co-investors, with clear, concise communication skills
