What they're looking for
- 3–5 years of progressive professional experience in accounting, finance, revenue accounting, or a related financial reporting function
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting requirements, and fundamental revenue accounting concepts
- Proficient/Foundational experience is preferred in applying ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance, including accounting for customer contracts with non-standard terms and conditions
- Demonstrated experience managing accounting deliverables within monthly or quarterly financial close cycles
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookups, financial reconciliations, and analysis of large datasets
- Proven ability to prepare accurate journal entries, perform account reconciliations, investigate variances, and maintain complete financial documentation
