About the role
We are seeking a Sr Electrical Harness Engineer to join our team in Mountain View, CA. The successful candidate will be responsible for product-level design and validation of electrical wire harnesses and subassemblies that are critical to the operation of our autonomous vehicles. The role will require knowledge in designing harness schematics, harness diagrams, harness manufacturing, and generating system interconnect diagrams.

- Be a core member on the Electrical Engineering team responsible for designing high quality harnesses assemblies for a system that includes high speed, low voltage, and high power requirements
- Design and validate custom automotive harnesses that are critical to the operation of our autonomous vehicle
- Responsible for working with our external partners for harness manufacturing
- Develop wire harness schematics and harness diagrams
- Responsible for harness BOM, component selection, and harness
- Familiar with automated tools for harness validation
