About the role
As Founding Recruiter, you'll help build the team that builds Lassie. You'll own recruiting end to end: finding exceptional talent, creating an excellent candidate experience, partnering closely with hiring managers, and raising the bar of what great looks like. What they're looking for
- You have 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience and deep expertise in sourcing, assessing, and closing top talent
- You've mastered mapping talent-dense networks, sourcing, and maintaining long-term relationships with top talent
- You've designed or built AI-native workflows for recruiting tasks, or have a strong instinct for where AI eliminates manual work without compromising the candidate experience or quality of decision-making

Build Lassie's talent acquisition engine from scratch: strategy, process, tools, metrics, reporting, and brand
Own end-to-end recruiting across software engineering, GTM, and G&A
Partner with the founders and early hiring managers to define role requirements (MOCs) and design interview plans
Do initial screens, and manage candidates through every stage from first touch to offer close
Build talent pipelines across multiple simultaneous searches
Create and refine recruiting analytics (funnel health, conversion rates, time-to-hire metrics, and more)
