About the role
This individual will be responsible for translating emerging clinical and scientific evidence into clear, compelling, and scientifically rigorous communications for healthcare professionals, opinion leaders, and other key stakeholders. The role will lead publication planning, congress strategy, scientific platforms, and development of core scientific materials while partnering closely with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Regulatory, and other functions.
What they're looking for
- PhD, PharmD, MD, or other advanced scientific/healthcare degree preferred
- 8+ years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience, with significant experience in Scientific Communications, Publications, or Medical Affairs
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing global publication and scientific communications strategies
- Experience supporting late-stage development, pre-launch, and/or launch strongly preferred
- Strong track record of developing manuscripts, abstracts, congress presentations, scientific platforms, and medical materials
- Experience working with external authors, opinion leaders, publication agencies, and medical writing partners
