About the role
At Layup Parts, we're developing the technology that will build the future. We're looking for an Electrical Engineer to help us build the next generation of manufacturing equipment while owning the electrical systems that keep our production floor running. This is a hands-on, systems-level role working across industrial controls, electrical cabinets, wiring and harnessing, production equipment, and robotic systems.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 1+ years of professional experience working with physical electrical or electromechanical systems. Exceptional early-career candidates with significant hands-on project experience will also be considered
- Strong hands-on electrical skills and comfort working directly with equipment, wiring, harnesses, sensors, motors, and other hardware
- Experience designing, building, troubleshooting, or integrating electrical systems at a system level
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to troubleshoot complex problems methodically
