What they're looking for
- Own a critical problem area end to end. This includes architecture, implementation, deployment, and the customer conversations that shape it
- Architect for big agent systems, big data scale, and courtroom-grade verifiability. For us, accuracy wins out over speed every time
- Support what we build. We all share the on-call rotation and the support load as a team
- Systems experience at scale. You’ve pondered choosing the right architectures, spotting the missing abstractions, and built generic systems from the bottom-up that can grow over time
- A track record of shipping real systems end-to-end, ideally either somewhere small enough where impact was easy to measure, or over a long enough period of time that you could see your bets play out
- Real range. You'd rather own a hard problem across four unfamiliar domains than optimize the one you've already mastered. Strength in security, distributed systems, or frontend/design is a bonus, not a box
