Lunar Outpost , an industry leader in space systems throughout the Earth Moon system is seeking a Business Development Engineer focused on U.S. Department of Defense space programs to help expand our company’s impact in establishing United States space capabilities. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, customer engagement, proposal development and capture management , driving new business for Lunar Outpost across U.S.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM field
- 4+ years of experience in DoD business development, capture, or proposal engineering (Aerospace or DoD field)
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading proposals and capture efforts for U.S. Government contracts
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes and regulations (FAR/DFARS)
- Strong technical background in spacecraft systems or mission operations (hardware and/or software)
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear, compelling proposal content

Working Conditions / Schedule: This position is required to be onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Where applicable, employees may work remotely on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
