About the role
We’ve built a new advisory model: we earn equity in the companies we advise and back select founders ourselves, building a concentrated portfolio using our own balance sheet. We think of it as a merchant bank – mixing some of our favorite ideas from venture and finance. We only win when our founders win. You will work directly with Aaron Harris (Magid founder and former YC Partner 2013-2021), as part of the larger Magid team. Magid is still young, so you will work across every function of the business, every day.

- Source founders: We’ve built a quiet but powerful brand on our unique value proposition serving founders. We host founder events, work with seed investors, VCs, and accelerators. We also publish weekly market research to reach thousands of founders and investors each week.
