Set the technical direction for the shared services and components that other teams depend on. Design APIs, tools and design system components that other engineers want to use, and drive adoption across teams. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.
What they're looking for
- 10+ years of professional experience building full-stack web or mobile products, including a track record of leading technical work at a scope beyond a single team
- Deep hands-on experience with TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Experience designing shared systems that held up at scale, and the judgment to know when not to build something
- Experience with mobile-first, responsive, iterative development
- A track record of writing maintainable, testable code you’re comfortable handing off to someone else
- Strong written and verbal communication: you can explain a technical tradeoff to a designer, a support lead, or an executive as easily as to another developer
