About Manufact

Cloud infrastructure for MCP servers and Claude / ChatGPT plugins. Backed by Peak XV and Y Combinator.

About the role

We’re hiring our first Forward Deployed Engineer to help enterprise customers and partners go from an idea to a product running on Manufact. You’ll work across enterprise pilots, technical partnerships and customer success. One week you might build an integration with another developer tool. The next, you’ll help a consulting partner deploy its first customer’s MCP app or get an enterprise implementation into production. Found on 1752vc Careers, the job board for startup and VC roles.

What they're looking for

  • You’ve shipped software used by real customers and can explain what happened after launch
  • Strong TypeScript skills and experience with APIs, authentication, integrations and cloud deployment
  • Comfortable moving between a customer call, a technical design, your editor and production debugging
  • You take ownership. When something stalls, you identify the blocker, find the right owner and follow through
  • Clear written and verbal communication. You can explain trade-offs to engineers and business stakeholders
  • Good judgment about what to build, what to reuse and when to involve the core engineering team
More about this role

Manufact builds dev-tools and cloud infrastructure for MCP and software used by AI agents.

Our platform helps teams build, deploy, test, and distribute MCP servers and apps across ChatGPT, Claude, Muse, Grok Bot, and other AI agents.

We created mcp-use SDK , the Next.js for MCP, with 10k GitHub stars and 10M+ downloads . We’re backed by Y Combinator (S25) and a $6.3M seed round led by Peak XV , with investors including the founders of Supabase.

We believe every software company will need an agent interface, just as it needs a website today.
