- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- Strong technical background building and operating production software systems
- Experience leading teams working on distributed, real-time, or high-concurrency applications
- Strong understanding of APIs, backend systems, service-oriented architectures, and cloud infrastructure
- Experience working with asynchronous systems, streaming data, event-driven architectures, or similar real-time workloads
