What they're looking for
- Own manufacturing planning and scheduling — build plans, capacity, and on-time delivery commitments — in partnership with the production team
- Lead, coach, and grow the manufacturing organization
- Partner with engineering to bring new products into production, driving design-for-manufacturability and clean hardware handoffs
- Run demand and materials planning, including forecast-to-build conversion, MRP-driven purchasing signals, safety stock policy, and inventory investment levels
- Partner with the quality team on supplier quality, nonconformance resolution, and documentation control so defects are caught upstream of the build
- Own the manufacturing budget and capital plan, including tooling, equipment, and facility capacity

Maybell Quantum is seeking an experienced operations leader to run our manufacturing organization. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Director of Manufacturing Operations owns manufacturing planning, supply continuity, and cost across our cryogenic hardware lines, working in close partnership with our production and quality teams. Our ideal candidate has scaled hardware from low-volume builds to repeatable production and is equally comfortable on the floor and in front of the executive team.
