About the role
We're looking for an accountant bookkeeper who loves their craft and wants to help define what modern, AI-powered bookkeeping looks like for small businesses. You'll join our team, work closely with US leadership, and help guide US-based accounting firms and clients.

- Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping for small businesses
- Solid command of core bookkeeping workflows: reconciliation, AP/AR, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Familiarity with modern accounting software such as Xero, and a willingness to adopt new tools quickly
- Understanding of US bookkeeping practices and requirements
- Experience using AI tools in a professional workflow is a plus — genuine enthusiasm for them is a must

- Support day-to-day bookkeeping for a portfolio of US-based Xero accounting partners and small business clients, delivering accurate, reliable, and timely work
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for accountants and clients — responsive, clear, and service-oriented in every interaction
- Use AI-powered tools throughout your workflow to speed up and improve the quality of your work
- Test, evaluate, and help refine AI tools — flagging what works, what doesn't, and where the biggest efficiency gains are
- Document your learnings, workflows, and best practices so other bookkeepers can adopt them and scale what you've built
