The Associate Content Creator brings original, exclusive and creative videos to life, from idea to execution. They participate in every step of the creative process, from pitching, booking, filming, editing and delivering final assets to be programmed on PEOPLE’s social channels and app. They are responsible for creative ideas and working with celebrity talent. This person should have an obsession with social media and pop culture, a strong understanding of the type of content users want to consume on the platform, and a desire to make people swipe and share. They will also produce “article treatment” videos during breaking news situations and be responsible for monitoring, pitching and creating videos from red carpet events.
The Associate Content Creator will be the first eyes the social video team has on the news each day, so they will pitch, create and deliver newsworthy videos and cuts of exclusive PEOPLE interviews. They will assist the Senior Content Creator with pre-productions on major PEOPLE shoots, coming up with questions for talent and pitching fun, scroll-stopping...
