About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Regulatory Affairs to join our team at Merkle Science. This role will be pivotal in ensuring that our operations and products comply with all relevant regulatory requirements across various jurisdictions. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape for cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology and will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to navigate and influence regulatory developments.
What they're looking for
- · Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (JD, MBA, or equivalent) preferred
- · Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or related roles within the financial services, fintech, or blockchain industry
- · In-depth knowledge of global regulatory frameworks governing cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology
- · Proven track record of successfully navigating complex regulatory environments
- · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with regulatory authorities and other stakeholders
