About the role
As a Security Engineer at Method Security, you will be instrumental in expanding the capabilities of our product, designing tools and workflows that enhance the AI-driven defenses our platform offers. This role requires a unique blend of security engineering expertise and software development skills to build features that turn complex security workflows into solutions our product can leverage autonomously.
What they're looking for
- Experience working in an infosec organization, with strong familiarity with security workflows, tools, and automation
- Proficiency in software development, particularly in automating and expanding security workflows within a product. Experience in Python and Go is preferred
- Demonstrated experience working with various security tools, such as networking and penetration testing tools, and integrating these within scalable product solutions
- Practical knowledge of advanced security workflows, including vulnerability management, incident response, and threat detection
- Ability to effectively communicate security-related features and their impact to non-security stakeholders
