About the role
Moonshot is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, optimize , and support enterprise infrastructure as the organization scales. This role adds engineering capacity to the existing Systems Administrator and Network Administrator functions, providing broad coverage across systems and network infrastructure rather than specializing in a single technical vertical.

- Define and design infrastructure requirements and technical approaches for new initiatives, facility rollouts, and infrastructure expansion projects
- Lead network and IT infrastructure projects from planning and design through implementation, validation, and transition to ongoing support
- Build and deploy infrastructure for new facilities, including the systems, network, connectivity, and core IT services required to support Engineering, Manufacturing, and Operations
- Provide post-implementation support, stabilization, documentation, and continuous improvement after new infrastructure is placed into service
- Take initiative and lead project work across the department, coordinating technical execution with team members and stakeholders without direct-report authority
- Design, implement, and maintain Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and virtualization (Hyper-V) environments to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance

Overview
Moonshot is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, optimize , and support enterprise infrastructure as the organization scales. This role adds engineering capacity to the existing Systems Administrator and Network Administrator functions, providing broad coverage across systems and network infrastructure rather than specializing in a single technical vertical.
The role is primarily project- and engineering-focused: defining infrastructure requirements for new initiatives, leading infrastructure projects, and driving facility deployments from design through implementation and stabilization. The Infrastructure Engineer will also provide hands-on operational support when needed and help strengthen infrastructure reliability, security, documentation, and continuous improvement.
