What they're looking for
- You take ownership of well-scoped test automation projects and see them through to production
- You have hands-on experience working with CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and release automation, ensuring high velocity and quality in software delivery
- You use data and metrics to investigate quality and reliability issues, and raise the ones worth fixing
- You communicate clearly and work effectively with engineers on adjacent teams
- Demonstrated experience utilizing GenAI in your day-to-day development workflow, including test automation and CI/CD/release processes
- Solid software engineering experience (roughly 3+ years, or equivalent depth) with a focus on test development

The Player Platform Solutions team owns the operational excellence, reliability, and quality of the player across Web and TV. We build and maintain test frameworks and automation, drive quality assessment and performance improvements, enhance developer productivity workflows, and own infrastructure tooling, monitoring, and release management for the player. We partner with internal and external teams on platform-specific and foundational playback needs — device security, client–server communication, performance optimization — and work closely with Core Playback and Stream Algorithms to ensure a consistent, high-quality playback experience for members worldwide.
