About the role
We're hiring our first dedicated IT lead to own the systems, infrastructure, and security that keep NewLimit running as we grow from to more than 100 people over the next two years. This is a hands-on individual contributor role with broad ownership: you’ll set technical direction, decide what we build, buy, automate, or outsource, and jump in yourself when that’s the fastest path.
What they're looking for
- 4+ years in IT, infrastructure, or security, including experience as a primary or sole IT/security owner at a small company and managing MSPs or technical vendors
- Working fluency across identity, MDM, networking, AWS fundamentals, Google Workspace or M365 administration, backups, and SaaS administration
- You script well enough to automate your own work, move data between systems, and comfortably read someone else’s code
- Strong practical security judgment: you know how to right-size controls for company stage and how expectations change as sponsors, auditors, and regulated workflows enter the picture
- You already use LLMs and agents to work more effectively, understand how to use them safely, and communicate clearly with scientists, executives, vendors, and auditors

We're developing medicines to treat age-related diseases by reprogramming the epigenome, a new therapeutic mechanism to restore regenerative potential in aged and diseased cells.
