- Strong software engineering fundamentals and experience building production software that is used and relied on by others
- Experience building full-stack applications, backend services, workflow systems, or operational tooling
- Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages, particularly TypeScript and Python, and comfort working across different parts of a software system
- Experience working with databases, APIs, and integrations between multiple software systems
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, including the ability to investigate issues spanning applications, infrastructure, external systems, and real-world operational workflows
- A proactive mindset toward automation, with the ability to recognize repetitive or fragile processes and turn them into reliable software systems
