About the role
This person will report into the People Operations Manager and work closely with the broader People team and cross-functional partners in Talent, Finance and the Clinical team. As a People Ops Associate, you'll support the full employee lifecycle for a fast-growing team across all 50 states, from onboarding and leave to compliance and HRIS, and help us move from reactive support to proactively shaping Nourish's talent and culture. What they're looking for
- Employee support: Be the first point of contact for People Ops questions on leave, payroll, and policies. Work the ticket queue and troubleshoot issues with warmth and speed
- Onboarding and off-boarding: Run both end-to-end, including data entry and fixes, onboarding weeks, answering new hire questions, paperwork, and off-boarding out of systems
- HRIS administration: Keep employee records accurate, process role and reporting changes, and pull reports
- Compliance: Pull reports, work with government agencies to meet deadlines, and support compliance work across all 50 states
- Workflow ownership: Take full ownership of recurring workflows and continuously streamline them as we scale
- Discretion: Handle sensitive employee information (compensation, health data, personal situations) with care and confidentiality
