About the role
You will own two critical areas for Nova: Building/maintaining our infrastructure (IaC, cloud, and connectivity) so that Nova works reliably and securely for customers across cloud environments and strengthening and maintaining our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance posture.
What they're looking for
- Significant experience (5+ years) in cloud infrastructure / DevOps / security engineering
- Hands-on experience with Terraform in production environments
- Strong expertise in AWS (VPC, networking, VPNs, IAM, compute, etc.)
- Solid networking fundamentals (VPNs, subnets, routing, firewalls, CIDR planning, DNS, etc.)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks — ideally SOC 2 and ISO 27001 (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions or similar)

You will own two critical areas for Nova: Building/maintaining our infrastructure (IaC, cloud, and connectivity) so that Nova works reliably and securely for customers across cloud environments and strengthening and maintaining our ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type 2 compliance posture.
Design, build, and maintain Terraform modules for Nova's core infrastructure (primarily AWS).
Manage deployments via GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tooling.
Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues between Nova infrastructure and customer environments — networking, VPNs, firewall rules, CIDR conflicts, routing, etc.
Collaborate with customer IT / network teams to design secure, robust connectivity solutions.
Support deployments and connectivity for customers using AWS, GCP, Azure, or hybrid on-prem/cloud setups.
