About the role

This role has two components: supporting the annotation team day-to-day while remaining hands-on in the work yourself. Serve as the day-to-day point person for a team of Video Data Annotators in our Salt Lake City office and work collaboratively with our California office

What they're looking for

  • 2-5 years of experience in data annotation, quality assurance, operations, trust & safety, content review, compliance operations, or another high-volume, detail-oriented environment
  • Prior leadership experience, whether as a team lead, senior individual contributor, trainer, QA specialist, or informal mentor
  • Exceptional attention to detail, you notice small inconsistencies that other people miss
  • Comfortable making judgment calls when a situation doesn't fit neatly into an existing rule
  • Able to give direct, constructive feedback without making the relationship adversarial
  • Comfortable holding teammates accountable to quality and productivity expectations

This person will be deeply integrated into the day to day functions of the annotation team to understand exactly what the team is seeing, but experienced enough to coach others, identify problems, and keep the team operating at a high standard.
