About the role
The Control Systems Specialist/Engineer provides control system development and support of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems. Commissions new facilities and troubleshoots and supports existing systems for ONEOK Refined Product & Crude operations. This job is safety-sensitive and subject to DOT and Pipeline Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) regulations.

- 3 - 5 years related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of: PLC and HMI platforms
- Knowledge of: Computer systems utilized in OT/ICS environments, including software management, industrial communication protocols, common programming languages, and database configuration

- Ability to: work under time pressure, tight deadlines and interruptions

The incumbent works under limited supervision and performs a full range of responsibilities within the Controls Technology group. Although guidelines are established, the position requires the ability to deal with anomalies on a regular basis. Broad use and/or application of advanced principles/theories/concepts in applicable discipline plus a good working knowledge of other related fields.
