Onto Innovation is seeking a Software Engineer III to join our team in Wilmington, Massachusetts location . This role is part of team developing our next-generation proprietary semiconductor capital equipment used in inspection and metrology for advanced packaging applications, including AI and other emerging technologies. This position requires deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Motion control systems for precision equipment
What they're looking for
- 3 years of C++/C# software development experience
- Experience in controlling mechanical and electrical systems
- Experience in motion control, motion tu ning, DIO
- E xperience in semiconductor capital equipment development desired
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%
