Opiniion is a SaaS, AI-first company reshaping how businesses understand and act on customer feedback. We're looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer to own the reliability, scalability, and security of our AWS infrastructure. This is a role for someone who thinks in systems, automates everything that shouldn't be manual, and can move fast without breaking trust in the platform. What they're looking for
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure engineering, with meaningful time in a staff or technical leadership capacity
- Deep, hands-on expertise in AWS, including EC2, VPC, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch
- Strong experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Proven track record building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
- Solid experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or similar)

We're building a new platform alongside our current one, so this role requires balance: owning and operating what's live today while partnering with our Staff Software Architect and Staff Data Architect to stand up the infrastructure for what's next.
You'll set the technical bar for how we build, deploy, and operate our infrastructure, and be a key partner to engineering as we scale.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS.
